Welcome to Together We Grow, a program of the El Dorado County Office of Education and First 5 El Dorado. We understand that you are your child’s first teacher and want to support you in your efforts to ensure a bright and healthy future for your child. Our goal is to help you understand and monitor your child’s growth and development by utilizing ongoing developmental “check-ups”, sharing parenting and community resources, and providing everyday parenting and child development support. See Developmental Stages.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends periodic developmental screening of all children. You have two ways to complete periodic developmental “check-ups” as your child ages.
